It has a very robust, ground ceramic thread tube. The hardness of this material is almost the same as diamonds.

Advantages for the fly tyer:

• No fraying or tearing of the tying thread is possible
• The ceramic tube, which is much smoother than metal, allows particularly fine work
• Accumulations of wax remains in the bobbin no longer occur
• You can easily process even the finest threads (such as 8/0 or 12/0)
